For Android users, you can unlock your door by waking up your phone and shaking it. As long as your device is already connected to the smart lock, there is no need to open the Ultraloq app!
U-tec App
This app is what you use in your smartphone to lock and unlock your door even when you’re far away, as long as there is a WiFi connection available. It also allows you to share e-key with other users. If you’re not home and a friend needs access, you can just share your e-key with them by using this app.
Another function for this app is that it logs records. It lets you view the registered users who have entered and left the room by the use of their apps or even their fingerprints! With it, you are also able to remove and add users. You have 100% control on whoever gets to enter your home and you can monitor it 24/7. It could not get any safer than that!
Users Access
The Ultraloq UL3 BT smart lock allows up to 95 different users, and that’s 95 different fingerprints or keycodes! Although personally, I wouldn’t want 95 different people to have access to my home, still it would be nice to know that if I ever need someone to get something from my place or feed my pet, a trusted friend or neighbour could do it.
Auto-Lock
Ever get that sudden paranoia when you feel like you’ve forgotten to lock the door and you’re already miles away from home? If you have Ultraloq UL3 BT as your smart lock, you will never have to feel this way again!
It auto-relocks after four seconds, so even if you did forget to lock the door, your smart lock will secure your home for you automatically. Should you decide to not use this feature, you can also choose the option of a passage lock where your doors aren’t on auto-lock all the time.
Sense-On Recognition
When the sensor detects your hand is near, the UL3 BT smart lock automatically wakes up. The OLED display touchscreen immediately lights up which will then allow you to see the keypad better especially in dimly-lit areas.

Setup and DIY Installation
Tool and Accessory
The box includes a screwdriver and a deadbolt cover plate. These are basically the only things you’re going to need besides a door and the smart lock, of course! There is no wiring or drilling needed to install the Ultraloq UL3 BT smart lock.
A fairly-detailed manual is also provided in the box should you find yourself in a state of confusion. Although that situation is unlikely (because DIY installation is simple!), the instructions are clear as day. However, it’s advised that you still read the manual that comes with it even if you find the installation easy.
Door Size Requirement
The UL3 BT works with most standard doors. It fits just right in standard interior doors that already have a single bore hole.
With thickness between 1 ⅜ inches to 1 ¾ inches, the smart lock will fit perfectly. A ThickKit is also available for thicker doors with measurements between 2 inches to 2 – ¾ inches.
Door Handle
The door handle of Ultraloq UL3 BT smart lock is reversible. It is able to accommodate both right-handed and left-handed doors, so you can install it in whatever direction you like!
